The Presidential Amnesty Programme was launched in 2009, primarily to address the Niger Delta crisis. The program aimed to disarm militants, rehabilitate them, and reintegrate them into society. This initiative recognized the importance of addressing the socio-economic root causes of the conflict, offering educational and vocational opportunities to those willing to lay down their arms.

To transform these ex-agitators into entrepreneurs and/or employable citizens who will become net contributors to the economy of the region and the country through effective collaboration with relevant public and private institutions and state governments in the region, the Presidential Amnesty Programme contracted IQVISTAS Solution.

IQVISTAS SOLUTION under the Presidential Amnesty Programme was  contracted as Consultant and the
training of 24 Beneficiaries on Entrepreneurship & ICT.

WHAT WE DID

Our goal was to train the 23 beneficiaries of the program on entrepreneurship and ICT skills and how they can move from people who are dependent on government stipends to becoming employers of labour according to the vision of the PRESIENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME by utilizing the skills they have been empowered with.

Also, IQvistas team issued to the beneficiaries, the items provided by THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME to help them start their business.
